Restoring a Toyota & Lexus when all keys are lost:

Newer Toyota and Lexus models equipped with Smart Key systems. Use Smart ECUs (Electronic Control Units) that securely store key data in non-readable, encrypted memory.

If all keys are lost, vehicle operation can typically be restored only by replacing the Smart ECU with either:
– A new Smart ECU along with a new master key, or
– A used Smart ECU that comes with its original (paired) master key.
